Hygod Update #1 - God's Server

We are pleased to announce the Hygod Update #1, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of God’s server. This update introduces a range of enhancements and new features designed to enrich your Vanilla+ gameplay experience.

The Spawn of Hygod

God needs a holy place, so why not have spawn be a church? This prefab was designed by Firehead65, available on CurseForge.

Players will spawn in Heaven inside of the church, with only an Earth portal by the exit. As of right now, no one can leave the building. In the future, this may change! As usual, the spawn is protected and players can only sit in chairs.

Hytale Server Upgrades

Hygod stays true to being a Vanilla+ experience, only introducing lightweight plugins and mods. These will not impact gameplay, but enhance it. Here’s a list of mods we’ve installed and feature:

We are not including LuckPerms, WorldProtect, or other background mods. In the future, an anti-cheat system will be decided. For now, we trust players will not cheat.

Party System

Anyone connected to Hygod can create their own parties and invite other players. Using the main /party command opens the UI to create, edit, and view other parties.

You can invite up to 8 friends in one single party. All players in the team will appear in the top-right corner of each person’s screen. This shows health, stamina, and ping. This is customizable in the party settings. There’s also a party chat for members to talk privately.

Our Hytale server also includes a leaderboard showcasing the top parties. You can sort by kills, damage, blocks, distance, and time. The last feature is probably the biggest – party teleportation. Players can use /party tp [player] to teleport.

Playtime Rewards

Upon joining, you will start collecting playtime. Use the /play command to open the UI. After the first hour, you will receive a free rank and one-time kit. The more you play, the more rewards you get.

Player Reporting

In order to keep Hygod safe from cheaters and malicious players, you can report them. By using /report [player] "[reason]", it notifies God. He will make a decision to punish or warn the reported user, given enough evidence.

False reporting will lead to punishment too, so be aware of that.

Future of Hygod

As of right now, there is no official roadmap.

However, God will likely investigate an anti-cheat system for the server. Cheating is never allowed, but we can’t moderate 24/7. Currently this is not a priority, as there aren’t many active players.

When Hytale Update 5 releases, alongside other updates, our server will be constantly updated. This includes mods, plugins, and anything else. If something is broken, we will fix it.
